“Oh My Beautiful Odisha” photography competition is being held by Tata Power-led Odisha discoms, a joint venture between Tata Power and the Odisha government. The competition is a special effort to highlight and appreciate Odisha’s abundant and varied natural beauty, and it invites photographers from all backgrounds to take part and showcase their skills.
All Odisha citizens are eligible to enter the contest. Participants may send their submissions, along with a brief explanation and personal information, or upload their photos via the URL provided below. The deadline for contributions is Thursday, November 30, 2023, giving participants plenty of time to discover and document the many fascinating aspects of the state’s people, customs, legacy, and landscapes.
The best 12 entries will be included in the TP Odisha calendar 2024 and will receive awards of up to ₹1,80,000 (Rs. 15,000 each).
The submissions will be judged by a prestigious team of specialists from a variety of professions, and the winners will be recognised and honoured for their artistic achievements in a big event. Additionally, the victors will get eye-catching rewards including certificates and cash awards.

Our goals are to highlight Odisha’s natural beauty and create a visual story that touches people’s emotions and brains, resulting in a closer bond. We hope that by using these pictures, we may arouse feelings, spark interest, and unite in celebrating the alluring beauty that characterises Odisha.
The ‘Oh My Beautiful Odisha’ photography competition invites participants to contribute to a visual story that highlights the distinct beauty of Odisha, which is in line with Tata Power’s commitment to sustainable development and community enrichment. The competition also aims to increase the state’s tourist potential, which has been steadily increasing in recent years. Based on the most recent data, Odisha had a 110% rise in domestic tourists and an 875% increase in foreign tourists in 2022 compared to the previous year, positioning it as one of India’s most popular travel destinations. The state’s rich cultural and ecological legacy is reflected in the number of national parks, sanctuaries, UNESCO sites, temples, monuments, and festivals that call it home.
