Odisha has once again proven its growing national presence by securing first place and winning the prestigious Gold Medal at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 in New Delhi. The honour was presented during a special ceremony organised by the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), marking a proud moment for the state on a national platform.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated Team Odisha for this remarkable achievement, expressing delight over the state’s consistent excellence and strong performance. He noted that this recognition further enhances Odisha’s image across India and beyond, reinforcing its commitment to progress and innovation.

This year’s trade fair saw participation from 31 states and Union Territories, each showcasing their unique contributions to development and culture. Odisha stood out in the overall exhibition category, earning the top award for the fourth consecutive year. Notably, this is the second time the state has secured the coveted Gold Medal, highlighting its sustained leadership and creative presentation.

Organised under the guidance of the Information and Public Relations Department, the Odisha pavilion featured 26 stalls from nine government departments. The exhibition effectively showcased the state’s developmental milestones, cultural richness, traditional heritage, and forward-looking policies.

A key highlight was Odisha’s long-term development roadmap, centred on the vision of “Prosperous Odisha by 2036,” aligned with the national aspiration of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. During Odisha Day celebrations on 22 November, Chief Minister Majhi visited the pavilion, applauding the vibrant display of art, heritage, and innovation, and encouraging participants for their commendable efforts.

With this latest achievement, Odisha continues to shine as a model of growth, creativity, and cultural pride on the national stage.
